Sreedhar Desai is a traditional Ayurvedic physician (vaidya) who resides in the Shevali village near the Dandeli Tiger reserve. 

I was very grateful for the opportunity to have interviewed Mr. Desai as he has an immeasurable amount of knowledge and experience in Ayurvedic medicine, which he came to learn from his father and grandfather whom for generations helped all who seeked their care as he does now. 

Locals and foreigners alike seek Mr. Desai for his service as raving appraisal of his healing herbs spread making him very well known & beloved.
